Summary of summer 2011 -

During the Summer of 2011 i carried out some vital work experience with a company known as Lorne Stewart PLC. Meeting new people and networking with people within the electrical field has helped me to gain new targets for my life ambitions. I believe working for Lorne Stewart has taught me some of the basic needs of working under a professional company from simply how to dress and conduct my self under professional meetings to how to produce professionally printed documents.

Lorne Stewart PLC has taught me allot about the Engineering industry and how it works and what the job prospects entail. From this Experience i have learnt how electrical engineers engineer a project to perfection,. This has taught me that an primary job is to overcome problems quickly, effectively and safely normally under stressful conditions this is what makes the difference between good engineers and bad engineers.

A full break down on the work in which i carried out is available upon request. The experience in which i undertook with this company is able to be used in conjunction with the university of derby Professional practice module. Unfortunately due to starting the placement early some of the time spent and the expreience  will not count.
